Hidden...

I've never...
felt fear like that before
or like this now.
I ran.. I thought my legs would give way
sway with the heavens for it to hurry and be over
all the time thinking of how someone's face
or something's face could droop as if its melting
the left eyeball hanging but staring directly at me
and following me as i dodged from side to side,
Thinking... scary movies aren't real
still unbelieving..this is happening
...why...how..a knife with double jagged edges
as long as my leg, spilling fast and dripping blood slow
at the same time..who's blood and why is he after me..
Time sliding by like it had it's own tardy pass
as.. I sit hidden in the smallest confines of darkness
I think its an old dog house put away in a closet
...took me a long time to find it too..running back and forth
through the same rooms, inside and outside the house,
but I'm starting to get comfortable..or adjusted
I'm still a little shaken and frantic..
even though..I haven't heard him walking.
My breathing has slowed down and my heatbeat has calmed
but my forehead..just keeps leaking sweat..but..but
I'm not hot and..
the hangers knocking into each other may give me away...but
I swore there weren't any hangers in here
