I am so full of devilment ,
love pulling a joke or two.
And my mind seems to be turning,
always with a new muse.
My sister and I love to go fishing,
and get so excited with every catch.
I snuck around the bend and rigged my pole,
with an artificial blow up gator real fast.
I tied a good size rock to it
so that it would sink you see,
And stayed real quiet
for a moment I was so pleased.
Then I threw out my other pole
and commenced to yell,
told my sister hurry I caught two
I need some help.
Oh she threw down her pole
and came running indeed,
I took the pole and was acting like I had something
and gave her the other you see.
She commenced to real it in
and was excited as could be,
that is untill that rock came loose
and that gator she did see.
Ha Ha Ha I was rolling on the ground,
when she threw down that pole
and was pickup bound.
I swear I could see a puff of smoke
Kicking up from her heals,
yet I was rolling on the bank
when she said we are gone , so get it in gear.
After a bit while in a dead run
she looked back real quick,
and I had set my chair back up
and was back fishing I did.
She yelles at me get yourself out of there
for that gator will eat you alive,
And then as I turned laughing
she had Im gonna kill you in her eyes.
Oh but it's a blast when we get together,
pulling jokes it couldnt get no better.
For even though we are two old broads today,
we are still two little girls at play.
