Who knows where the heart is
It wanders randomly
It connects with beauty
It seeks tranquility
Who knows were the heart is
In a given moment
It lingers on sunrise
It dwells in the sunset
Who knows where the heart is
Capturing sweet glances
Or with Spring’s daffodils
Or in fluttering leaves
Who knows where the heart is
With sparrows in dust baths
With giggling children
On paths in La Verna
Who knows where the heart is
As it flits and flutters
In the beauty of life
With spontaneity
Who know where the heart is
In tender moments
When it is so aching
That it might break in two
Who knows where the heart is
When it is elated
Bursting from happiness
We know, oh yes, we do

Aww
I really like it. It's beautiful and powerful. I, like many others who have read this poem, am still wandering where my heart is, but i think we've foun yours - you've so delicately and beautifully woven it into your words.

Beautiful write. I find I am still searching for my heart some days, who knows where it is, but you seem to have found your heart and worked it into the poem well. Thanks for sharing and keep that pen flowing.
