Idyllic Dream
©copyright 2004 Bonita M Quesinberry, R.C.
Yellow daffodils sitting on windowsills;
mirrored in sparkling glass, framed by fancy frills.
Bumblebees humming o'er sweet scented flowers
beneath the majestic, swaying fir towers;
a gentle breeze rustling through mighty branches,
furry little squirrels in darting chances.
A winding river splashing o'er turquoise stones,
its peaceful hush joining nature's melodic tones,
to rush down stream amid my idyllic dream:
where birds sing and eaglets daringly take wing.
In this forestland, God's art is on display:
a beautiful canvas for new scenes each day.

Great imagery here!
-
In essence you have captured God's work with such vision and imagery, with flow with Grace, and giving the reader time to reflect that in all things there is peace for the seeker. Blessings

-
very beautiful
and so is God's work. We don't notice as often as we should, but the world is full of God's beautiful works! Yours aren't bad either, The Shaker

Yes.
Yes I do and many times when you go back over a passage you see so many different things. Your poetry is very accurate and entertaining.
