I wake up and it's a dark new day,
I start my routine and all's well
Then everything seems to be fine
But then it just all falls down
The walls collapsed and the floor split open
I began to fall into a black abyss.
The walls got higher the more i struggled
The air began to burn in my lungs
I could see the others standing above me laughing while i was drowning
My mind was racing
And my heart was pounding
But then you shouted to me
With a simple phrase that saved me
Who knew these words could bring such joy in a dark place.
The light in my life was back on
