Our love's always been
Like looking into a mirror...
Me on one side...you on the other...



I cast shadows on your sunny days
And you give light to the dark side of me..

You pull me up from the ocean I drown in
As I drag you deeper and deeper down.

I slowly freeze your heart like ice
While you try to thaw and warm mine.

You wipe each tear I shed
Yet all I do is make you shed twice as many.

You attempt to make me laugh every chance you get
But because of me, you haven't laughed in ages..

Because of you, the sparkle in my eyes came back
But because of me, your eyes have turned to icy stone.

You tell me endless times not to worry.
But you worry for me constantly..

I can actually look on the brighter side of things now
As you can see only a mile long road of darkness and dismay

I'll wear an array of bright neon colors
As you pick up and throw on my black attire..

I'll run free through meadows of flowers and green
While shackles and chains bind you to the dark abyss

But for some reason unknown..even after all this
After everything you gave up because of me
