As I gaze into the night,
images of Merlin appear
before my sight.
From distant lands
he calls to me,
whispering mythical
epiphanies.
Incantations takes hold,
as transformation
charm my soul.
In a flash I am He,
like a caged bird my
spirit's set free.
It wanders throughout the universe,
casting spells in reverse,
to magic secrets that I rehearse.

A good write and interpretation of the picture prompt. 60 words exactly. Nice use of simile. Good flow and tone. Nice imagery. Lovely depth of feeling. You describe an adventure in magic and travel amongst the stars in the tutelage of Merlin. Thank you for your entry.
