Mike hates cats that meow,
he says Tom must go.
Need to choose one but how,
the answer I do not know.
Like to cuddle, he does not,
but kitty purrs all day.
Both are lazy, yawn alot,
sleeping the day away.
Tom cat is finicky to feed,
wants only table scraps,
Beer is all Mike will need,
a place to take his naps.
Tom is glad to see me,
when I walk in the door.
Jumps in lap happy as can be,
all Mike does is snore.
Don't know which to choose,
my husband or the cat?
Both snooze, one likes booze,
both have gotten pretty fat.
I tossed a coin up in the air,
to see which one to choose.
My decision will be fair,
tales will win, heads will lose.
You will have to guess who won,
my husband or the cat.
Because my poem is now done,
that is all there is to that!!

Not telling YOU what to do, but I would have kept the coin and the cat and threw out the husband. This was funny and thanks for the laugh, I needed it. Great poem.

Well, I would have had a wonderful life with that wonderful little kitty snoring away on my lap. Great write that I guess left the door open for interpretation. This was so funny and my smile will stay for some time to come. I am a huge cat lover! Thanks for the read and good luck in the contest.

cats vs men....tough choice....both have really good qualities and bad qualities and they are usually opposites.....makes it a very hard choice to make somedays but other days the choice is easier
