all i want to say is hi.
but i get tripped up when you walk by.
my teeth clench and my stomach ties knots.
i'm worried you'll see the shaking knees i've got.
my palms get sweaty like melting ice
and my vision gets spotted like dots on dice
i am mentally reviewing my notes from psych.
and i figure i'm heels over head in... like.
what else could explain the butterflies
i get whenever we lock eyes.
or the little pang of happiness i feel
when you hug me and i want to squeal.
or the way my friends poke fun at me
because you're the only one i can see.
or all the things i need to say
but just can't seem to find a way.
so if all i want to say is hi
but i really trip when you walk by,
just turn around and don't look back
or i'll probably have a heart attack.
and if you see my nervous hands
please just try to understand
i've never felt so odd before
and i just don't want to anymore.

got bored and wrote something. :]
don't ask about the giraffe.
and the end part doesn't mean i don't want to like him anymore,
it just means that i don't want to have to feel like puking my guts out because i have so many butterflies when i see him. :]
