I'm confused, I thought the Hebrew name for Jesus was Yeshua not Yashua. But that is just irrelevent, really. This is a great acrostic, you make such a wonderful use of language. Very powerful, gotta love the poem about God set against a background of stars, the universe, his creation.

      LOL....

Don't be confused friend! Do you know the word: 'HalleluYah'? [or in Greek it's Alleluia] That word in the Hebrew means praise ye [singular or plural] YAH! I understand Father's name to be YAH & The Savior's name to be Yahshua. Yahshua means YAH salvation or YAH saves. He came in The Father's name to do His will. What is His will? Salvation! Yeshua cuts out Father's name & means 'saves'. Big difference from what I understand from my studies & there are lots of proof scriptures I could quote you from the word to illustrate. Big topic! So glad you found your way to this piece & for your read & comment!

    Acrostic

This is a beautiful acrostic. I'm really not a fan of form writing because I think it takes a lot of talent to balance the context of the work with the form to the point where the entirety of the poem is poignant and purposeful, hitting hard with meaning and most can only nail the form itself. What I like about this one is that you didn't force the rhyme at all. You did the acrostic, and the meter here balanced the form out without forcing rhyme which most will do. Plus, you used great mixture of obscure and common wording, while not losing the reader to an elitist concoction of I know bigger words than you. You used the "big" words appropriately and in moderation to convey the point of the poem in a concise manner. Excellent.

Thanks for your comment on my acrostic.

    • Thank you

for finding your way here 'cause I love this one [for many reasons] & am so glad that you are the second reader to see & comment on this! I need to get more reads for this in honor of The Savior! Your comments are welcome & rewarding. I'm surprised to hear that you don't like form writing 'cause from what I just saw you are fab at it!

    Excellent Acrostic & Message!

Great work, Kath, and even greater message of Truth. Oh, how I love God's Law; so simple yet so vital to all who would claim belief. Very well done!

    Luv & hugs, BonQ

    • TY Bonnie!

You got here before I got to put up the Scripture! Would you believe that I got flack from a "believer" about not putting my own comments in the AN & posting scripture? I know that these kind of things are going to happen but I still get surprised by the way they do nonetheless! We all need to hang tough while all about us is madness! I always love hearing from you dear & trust you're doing well in Him!
