Give tirelessly

Risking their lives to save

Facing such horrendous danger

To save humans, animals and the bush

Some lost their own homes fighting it

Linny and I are at least 2 or 3 hours away from where the fires are, but have been getting a lot of smoke residue from them.

The horror will indeed haunt them Jules. I was talking to a friend who has just been to the area to counsel the firefighters Some are ready to be counselled yet many are not.
You have penned this Rictameter with the emotion that we are all feeling.
    Best wishes with this.

As the fires are brought under control the floods are still doing damage. Qld is in a mess and central coast of NSW is also a mess. Imagine 600 mm of rain in your area.
        The mind boggles.
