Sometimers Disease

My older sister and I
were talking the other day,
and we laughed at how sometimes
we forget things along the way.

Things you know just drifts away,
and you stand there with
this stupid look on your face.
Age she said that's what it is for sure,
I think sometimes I have aleichem's
I can't remember anything anymore.

We laughed and I told her
we aren't quite there,
I think we have some-timers
first stages of being unaware.
We have got to the point
where cluttered our minds become,
and in this we lose ourselves
and often feel mighty dumb.

Some-timers is when
your mind stops in mid stride,
start writing your drivers license
and get lost that's right.
It's like your in the twilight zone
a part of the mind un used,
and in this vacuum you lose your muse.

Some-timers we all share this indeed,
haven't ever figured it out
yet we all get lost you see.
Just laugh at yourself
and know you are not alone,
cause there are millions out there with that
goofy look upon their face you know.

so many times, my brother and i sit down and just say, "hey, remember the time when..." and we go off on some random hilarious memory. This is so beautiful, and cute.

Awesome and true. We all do walk around with that look on our face from time to time. And it's not an age thing>. There are time when my son Joshua get this look like he is lost he was in the middle of telling me how his day at school was and all of sudden he looks at me like he had just lost what he was telling me. Thanks for the read and keep on writing
