Hanging around with nothing to do
Cept telling those crows to shoo away shoo
Wishing I could take a walk some time soon
It gets pretty hot up here around about noon
Lil children from me always up and run away
I know my face has seen some better days
I’m not handsome like some I’ve seen
But there’s nothing about me that’s really mean
The crows, now they don’t even listen to me
So tell me how scary could I really be
Man I wish I was able to breathe and feel
I’d be the happiest scarecrow if I could be
Real
No more birds using me as a tree with a nest
That would be one of the things that I’d like best
Instead I’m stuck up here with a post up my butt
No family, no friends, no way to ease this wander lust
Maybe if I could get down I might really clean up
Make some friends and have heavy topics to discuss
With some jazzy threads and a brand new hat
Sunglasses too, boy wouldn’t I just love that
I wouldn’t mind being one of those space aliens abductees
At least then I would be unhooked and fancy free
Dreams are nice but my life is what it will always be
The sun, the crows, nothing ever changes, oh woe is me
