I Am Winter

I am bitter freezing,
And I'm extremely raw,
I have to make people cold,
It's part of the winter law.


Sometimes I bring frost,
And sometimes freezing rain,
And if you stay outside too long,
I will bring you much pain.


The wind is blowing bringing such chills,
snowflakes falling down on the hills.


I am Winter, just the same,
This gloomy weather, I am to blame.

    I am extremely impressed with your work. Especially considering your age. Please take that as a compliment! Even you yourself should answer the question I ask inside my head, "How many 13 year olds can write like this?" I've been through your poems, very well done

    Wow. You make the winter sound like some evil old warlock person like in some of the movies. Lol. I usually love winter because I really love snow but I'm starting to get a little tired of it now and I can't wait for sprong. Great job!!

    I got a shiver near the end... the repetition of all the wintry deeds was the cause, I think! It's great when your poem forces that kind of reaction out of a reder. Nicely done, Slick.
