Do you know the cost of leadership???


There are many who want to be in charge
Those who want to be in the limelight
Those who want to be in the forefront
Those who want the fame and the glory

Those who want increase in their pay
And additional letters behind their name
Those who want the credit when everything goes right


But for everything there is a time and a season
For if we plant we shall surely reap
However there is a cost
We must realize that being in the front also means you are the first to be hit
If you are at the top, not only are you seen for greatness
You are also a target for slander


There is pressure and responsibility in being a leader
But as I said…there is a time and a season
For at the end there is a harvest


I believe that God is trying the hearts of leadership
And we cannot become distracted by the events that are used in this process
God is revealing our hearts
Whether we are truly doing this for Him
Or if we are doing this just for the spoils

If you are called to leadership
Know that promotion does not come from the east or the west
But it comes from above
So do not be weary in your well doing because you shall reap if you do not faint
