The game began as the apple was launched!
The impromptu ball sped along the empty field
As players began to chase, the green frog got to it first,
Only to be eaten by the cat, surely a foul!
The monkey hit him with a yoyo and knocked him
Into the next world to the urges of bystanders.
The doll giggled and whispered to zebra who nodded
And trampled the monkey who was celebrating too hard
Drinking wine fresh off the vine while dancing in a hat.
“So much for monkey” said the Queen of the pie stall
The octopus then x-rayed zebra for lumps
While we drank water and tea, that was our job
As the red sun set leaving a deep night like black ice.
