Mirrored reflection
screams imperfection.
Tears fall at my feet
in azure deceit.
Rivulets from reddened eyes
resulting from deceitful lies
intensify the pain.
Heartbreak in the rain.
Fear of each day
cannot be repaid
unless you can say
“I won’t be betrayed!”
Happiness is relative.

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: Mantra
This piece tugged hard at Spirit and after reading several times~ I am Honored also Humbled You took the time to pen for my contest
You took the prompt and ran with it~ Bravo!!

When I digest words written, images come through that grab hard~
Woven Strengths- Love how You presented this also for some reason when I got to the last full stanza- was having a Judas moment there- his name popped into my head- Read again and there he was - did not get The Last Supper- just Judas reference- First two lines pulls the reader in-
Powerful verse and message You have brought forth

These words grabbed and pulled-
Fear of each day
cannot be repaid
unless you can say
“I won’t be betrayed!”
Emotional Voice spoken~
Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit
also best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
**Judging will be done shortly...
Many blessings too
with much love and light~ Desire~*~
