Crystal clear flows the spring water
In the hidden places in my soul
Where dreams of lost places
In the land where dreams flow
Can you feel the magic dance
As it sparkles cross the stones
Sounds soft reminder's still
Of a lost and enchanted home

A beautiful poem but I did say rhyme only, sorry.

Thank you for your comments, and I enjoyed the winners and felt they were most deserved, yet still this poem was rhyme, or perhaps just my take on rhyming, blessings john

Oh So LovelyJohn
I love to go to the spring near by and get gallons of water. One advandage of living in the mountains. So nice to read your poetry. Hugs my friend. Peace and Grace to you always. Sandy

magical and yet distinctly sad in there like a forgotten promise or remembered kiss, i love the images of the waters and the metaphoric references to lands and places, also a enchanted ride as i read the words i had to return to the start and read it again, the best i have read today

Oh, truly...
This is a poem that speaks to me wonderfully... it is filled with soft sounds and tender lines that I love.
