My dearest little brother,
I know you will hate me for this,
leaving you in that hell hole,
for a dark peaceful bliss.
Please know i tried my hardest
to stay there just for you,
but with all his hatred on me,
I didn't know what else to do.
You were my best friend,
the only thing that made it ok,
but even as hard as I fought,
the sadness wouldn't go away.
I no longer fear death,
in fact I welcome it with open arms,
the only tears I cry,
are for leaving you in his harm.
Your the only reason i had,
for ever staying around,
your the reason I picked myself up,
after he shoved me to the ground.
I know you'll be stronger than me,
because your better in everyway,
Brendan I love you,
but in this life I just can't stay.
