Your coffee has a funny taste
but drink it up - don’t want no waste;
the cereal’s flat, the toast is burnt
you’d think by now
you would have ‘learnt;
The pail’s still sitting by the door
as roof is lying on the floor,
glass from broken window panes
mix in with trash, ain’t that a shame.
But none of that will bother you
as trophies shine on walls of blue,
you’ve won them all with your quick wit
and in your grass-shack, they’ll all fit.

The best thing about AP trophies, you don't have to dust them! Or install new shelving, or explain them to family that already thinks you're nuts!
Very enjoyable write, those mundane things like eating sometimes get in the way of writing time. Excellent descriptions, great meter and enjoyable rhyme!
