The room is full
of ash and
stale breath.
You glow.
Warm.
Welcoming.
Ah the easy way out.
Candy options melt
on your lips.
Your answer is obvious.
Clear cut in a world of haze.
Whisky kisses,
spun sugar.
Grimy glitter.
And there it is.
The diamond
that is to hard.
Have we already chosen?

I chose cigarettes and worked on the theme of good choices that are so hard to make, I based it on my grandma quitting but wanted to expand it so it could apply to more things.
