Resting under her enchanted celestial elm,
the power of her fairy thoughts
causes ripples in the water to roll in soft waves
as the smooth surface stirs by her spell’s command,
pure and magical, charmed to create crystal clarity
for any mortals blessed to drink from the lake.
On the wind she hears the song of desires,
from the littlest soul to the oldest heart,
upon the air floats their secrets,
each precious pearl of hope,
which she caresses with such endearing care.
How her fingers purify and inspire
that fluid to flow in sweet serenity
to refresh and heal a wounded life,
restore the eyes to peer again
into the realm of enchantment.
Silently they appear before her,
all the thirsty she kissed a night
just for a taste that tugs from inside,
compelling them to bend down and take one sip.
It brings a quiet to tears
soothes the darkness and fills with light
until the giggles of pixies can be heard,
footsteps of dancing leprechauns lilt through the mind,
whatever concerns killed the joy
are quickly quenched by her mystical sway.
When the adult rises from that swallow
the child inside again thrives,
feeling so giddy when the world is no longer cold,
sun made of gold and willing to believe again
that wishes can come true.

What a delightful and true statement this is, Hon.. We just have to suspend, for a moment, all the day to day distractions to bring childhood back again.. This is a wonderful piece, I really loved it!
