for demanding the facts.
Been hauled into jail,
for with whom I chose to interact.
Well...
I've finished crying,
and now I'm just mad.
My rage has carried me
past the fits and the sad.
This broken mom isn't taking it any more,
So buckle up 'chuck', we're going to war.
I've gathered whats left,
and I've pieced 'em place.
We'll be seeing you soon,
to wipe that twisted smirk off your face.
Bring your leather bound clubs,
and your treasured tazers too.
We wouldn't expect anything more,
from the boys in blue.
Call all your 'brothers',
and give 'em fair warning.
Can't guarantee we'll all be,
making it home in the morning.
You've bullied and harassed,
and killed far too many.
So now the mothers,fathers,
sisters,brothers,
children and spouses;
Are coming to shake down
your scandelous houses.
We're determined to break,
that led door to justice.
We're willing to die,
for what we got coming to us.
Gather your masses,
and lock down your doors.
No longer are we willing,
to be the casualties of your ego wars.

The above quote is in reference to police brutality; which is the one of the two top causes I am active in.
Personally I have NO respect for ANY cop, which has lead to some issues with not only myself but they have singled out my children and have killed my husband.
To be honest the police in Seattle Washington as well as my hometown are very familar with me and and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'm a quick 'shot' with my Kodak
and the P.I. hates to be outdone by the news scource 'The Stranger' so I tend to get some attention.

For me this a very personal subject, I attend peaceful protests against police corruption but it always turns out that "we" (versus them) are blamed for the violence.
If the thugs would just set their ego and tazers and 9mm aside for these events and allow us to exercise our rights then they wouldn't have to circle the wagons in the aftermath to get their lies straight.
Thank God for the video recorder and it's pocket size cuz now they are a little less eager to start electrocuting anyone who disagrees or has the 'audacity' to question their tactics and disregard their precious ego's.

This is powerful! The stand you've taken is quite understandable. Far too long we have settled for the corrupt way things are done in the name of JUSTICE! Thank you so much for the courage it took to take action against those who should be for us. The evidence that the powers-that-be are not for the goodwill of humanity scream throughout these rhyming verses. I wish you well in this challenge.

Unfortunatley the police and their apologists are not concerned for the citizenry or truth.
Sadly enough just last night I recieved news that one of the cops involved in my husbands death ( and 2 others) "during the line of duty" has once again wreaked havoc, beating a 15 year old girl.
Finally he is being prosecuted, although a misdemeanor charge doesn't seem fair.
Justice will arrive one day though and for that I am greatfull.
