I Want

I want to live forever,
To dream so many dreams,
To see the world around me,
And know I'll never leave,

I want to see my family,
Every day of my life,
To know they're right beside me,
Through all the tough times in life,

I want to know that my sister,
Living what seems so far away,
Won't be in a car accident,
To be sure that she won't die today,

I want to keep on writing,
To never lift my hand from the page,
Until all the angry,violent people in the world let me rid them of their rage.

    yes, i understand. I want to live forever, to make sure my loved ones are safe. I never want to grow up, to stay who i am for all iternity. Your words are so true and heartfelt. Your poem was beautiful and flowed so well.

    Wonderful heart felt words and a prayer...I love seeing someone your age with compassion and a love, and using it in writing...continue in it, this flowed and was simply beautiful. Blessings.
