Fish breath thoughts and lazy doorbell,
Chiming in the empty abyss of time,
Space and eternal meowing. Sedate
Wonders cling to jellied chunks and
A stretch becomes eternity.
Comfort wasted on canine ramblings
And thoughts turn to freedom. Pink
Bowls and wound string breaks
The mould of weeping scratch post.
Four paw philosophy and dry throat
Head stroke; wonder and peace.
