When snow departs at Spring's return
the sight eclipses all we've learned
but rainbows seem to glow in shades of gray.
The winds blow peacefully, the sea
swoons waving almost happily
but eyes gloom as if breathing's gone away.
Why stars will twinkle as they move
around a world that showers youth
in silence. The secret is we'll never know.
Where rivers bend and sparrows sing,
life proves it doesn't mean a thing
to anyone -- it's merely all its done 'till now.
