stirring slowly my eyes open
awakening from the nightmare
you're there, asleep
naked skin wrapped in a blanket
breathing gently, slowly
my fears about you
vanish
the nightmare, a dream
as you lie there, i watch
waiting for you to awaken
Knowing you're here with me
I feel whole, buy dreading
the hours to come when i leave
walk away, start engiene, drive
leaving you behind, knowing
knowing that you will wait
for me, i'm forever yours
as you are mine, my mind stirrs
longing to ask the forbidden
those sacred words that can't be said
as we're not ready yet
though i long to, i remain
silent, loving you forever
waiting for the time
when I can keep you
forever

I went home for the weekend and spent almost the entire time with the one i love, almost every minute i longed to ask her the question which we both know the answer to but don't want to ask cause of the distance and our current paths we walk, we remain seperated by distance but our love never faultering, I long for the day when our paths are fully together again when we can become one, forever.

wow i can really relate to this poem my god, its like you've just put all my thoughts and feelings from my personal situation and put it all into words brilliant write, i love the flow of the poem it reads well and gives a almost film like imigary.
