Green eyes so innocent
fair complexion so pure
who would ever imagine
the power of her lure.
Enticement her forte
clever deception of all
feeding her evil hunger
watching each of them fall.
Purple was her magic
a color she wore well
for within the dark roses
was the key to her spell.
Cyanide and arsenic
amalgamation complete
soaking her lovely roses
poison thorns so discreet.
Take pity on the widow
for one day she will pay
evil doings for pleasure
will turnabout one day.

Sort of brings home the old saying "there is much danger in eternal beauty"
