Reflection

I know that man in the mirror
more than anyone else
perhaps a little too much

he is the projection
of my perception
the ego's shell
I am the content within

for all you know I could hold
the secrets of the ancient world
and the mysteries of time
you could find yourself in me

does the door in my heart
lead to bliss?
unlock it, my true love
look beyond my reflection.

    i really like the last stanza:

    "does the door in my heart
    lead to bliss?
    unlock it, my true love
    look beyond my reflection."

    that's a great way to finish your poem.....
