1809

A century gone by
your blood still burns in my veins
as I remember the night you brought me across
as it haunts me to my core
to think you brought me into this darkness
a century ago
I am trapped in this world
lonely and waiting for this world to come to an end.
Feeding on those who cross my path
feeling remorse, the aftermath
Do you remember the year 1809?

I have pondered over the thought
would I ever be able to thank you
for taking me away from my fragile life
I've seen so many things happen
Titanic's sinking to the growing wonders in tecnology
but I'm seen yet unseen
the world you made me leave
went in a blink of an eye
back in 1809

I am 125 years old
yet not  even aged
