I have been searching for so long
for something i didn't know,
i didn't know what was it? or how was it like?.
I have been walking for a long time,
heading in all directions trying to find it.
then i realized that i have lost my way back home.
I couldn't see what is in front of me,
nothing but a misty road and empty plains
with no one to guide me or show me the way.
I felt that something inside me have gone away,
i felt empty,broken and sometimes even dead.
i decided to sit down and stop breathing and wait for my end.
My body was so cold with no heat inside
my skin was white my eyes were closed
and life was flying away out of my core.
Suddenly i remembered my mother's look in my eyes,
my father's touch on my shoulder,
and i remembered a dream of a child who wanted to be happy and to touch the stars.
I knew that the road was rough and may be i wouldn't get out alive
i didn't know what is better to site down and wait for death
or to give it another try may be i could reach the shore
or at least i would die with pride.
I wore my armor and put on my helmet,
i took my sword and went to war,
war for survival, war to prove who is the best?,
yes i will kill the dragon and pass the test.
I know i am neither perfect nor weak,
I will keep trying,i will keep fighting,
I know i can do it,its impossible that god have created me for nothing,
I will keep raising my sword till i win the battle
My choice to die with honor and fly with the eagles better than crawling with shame and dieing with the rabbits.

i believe that every one have to choices to be an eagle or a rabbit .

I want to be an eagle!!!! I love the fact that you looked at love as a road that is very uncertain but in the end you are not going to give up!!!!

There's a great amount of depth in this, and so much truth also. Everyone has a seconds chance that whatever they want to accomplish; it's up to them if they're ready to take that step or not. A very well penned poem, I must say. Wonderful work.

This is great! I love the way you remind us we all have choices to make in life, some may take us down one road, to where we want to be, others, well they may lead off the path we want, but if we just keep pushing ahead, we can find our way back! Great job!

Aside from a few grammer mistakes it's a great piece. great imagery. I love the weakness and then the strength. nice job.
