we made love beneath the sunset
on a warm november day
in a field of red and golden leaves
that glistened in orange sun rays

as the sun sank into the horizon
i could see it reflect in your eyes
and it filled me with such a passion,
the intensity brought tears to my eyes

the wind gently carried your whispers
and placed them gracefully in my ears
effortlessly bringing me to life again,
completely erasing all my fears

i loved tasting the sun on your skin
as my lips explored every inch of you
i wished to breathe you in forever,
hoping you would always feel this too
