Have you ever raised your ear,
To trace the beginning of sound,
Tried to pin the unheard on a notice board
And wait til the sun has drowned?
Carefully we wait in darkness
To play on tunes that are never heard
Trying to captivate a heart that’s decayed
Whilst nurturing a beauty that’s beyond fear.
Slowly materialising you stand
Clutching at anything you believe
Mistaking what you hold…
…be careful of lullabies
For all the are,
Are lies…

This has a very interesting concept,
I loved "Have you ever raised your ear,
To trace the beginning of sound,"
that idea just made me want to read over and over.

Ooo no wonder this won bronze

Honestly I reckon it should've been gold but still...
I loved the first stanza the best, as it ... I dunno, stood out?
Very nice flow and rhythm though :]

Oh my God. I don't believe what I just read. I had to reread the first stanza like 5 times. So incredibly amazing. Really weird cause im listening to Umaguma by Pink Floyd. God damn, incredible!!! Mere words cannot describe....
