The Circle

 

 

Slowly you came into my life,

softly I was captured by your words.

Each day we spend together,

every night we lay side by side.

 

 

Our lives filled through laughter,

and hearts overflowed with love.

Magically we were drawn together,

till fate took over and you went away.

 

 

Each night as I fall asleep alone,

you find your way to me once more.

I feel your touch, and kiss your lips,

hoping to never wake from my dreams.

 

 

We have a bond stronger than love or friendship.

Our love like a circle, has no beginning nor end.

Although we are never to be together,

We shall never ever be apart.

    This is really nice.. reminds me of like a true friendship.. someone that will always be there no matter what you do or say to them.. and you can always depend on them or call them for anything.. I guess a circle appropriately describes the strength that those kind of relationships hold.

    Beautifully Written!

    Quite an understandable poem and so very rare to find in Life. Most of the time it's the make up break up cycle or just the break up part. "We have a bond stronger than love or friendship.Our love like a circle, has no beginning nor end. Although we are never to be together. We shall never ever be apart." I love this part it's an original stanza which in itself makes it beautiful. Bravo. Keep Writing.
