Tinkerbell The Dreamer Within

From childhood there was a fairy,
Tinkerbell was her name.
She would fly about within my mind,
and we would play fun games.

She brought magic to each day,
and would tickle me with her wings.
Such a beauty in the sun she played,
and her best friend was me.

As I grew up she came along,
to see my days were blessed.
For you see Tinkerbell
was my inner child,
and a best friend you bet.

So today I now am 55
and trust me she is still there,
to bring a smile and a new muse
for us to share.
Magic is within us all
just let the child play,
and so what if others are looking on
Tinkerbell will show me the way.

Lovely sentiments well written. Many forget that older people are allowed a seond childhood and few use it to advantage. Let the child within us all have some time in the spotlight. Very well done, congratulations.

  • Very nice. I think what makes people old is that they forget the feelings that that had when they are young. With Tinkerbell as your muse you may never grow old.

    Well done.

    THIS IS SO CUTE!!!!

Tinkerbell has always been one of my favorite faeries! I am much like a little boy playing like she does.
