A Photo

Frozen memories of a love, lucid in a photo.
Flashbacks of heartthrobs, delight and smiles,
infatuation and desire cramped in the memory of a mind.
Times past and love remaining within a photo
Limits.
Jailed emotions and yearning for what was thought to be.
Trying to wipe out the bitter reality of what it truly isn’t?
Idealistic wishful thinking, maybe still dreams and hope existing.
Logical certainty blows the smoke away.
Alas, they will remain photos and memories,
Photos destined to go in pieces to the trash can,
While memories fade away to murkiness and forgetfulness.

Without memories, how could we understand we once lived ? Hopefully they exist, happy or sad. Your poem is a beautiful and fresh photo.

A very deep emotional picture of a sad poem....painted with a great words that erupted straight from the soulful heart....which carries:

"Idealistic wishful thinking, maybe still dreams and hope existing." All the best...Grateful

My sweet friend Kevin thank you for passing by

Sad and story of my life. never chose it to be this way. but amazing how photos can capture moments of ardor and delight, or is it because we were the protagonists there.....and memories can stay fresh when we want to or became stale and consciously or unconsciously fade away
