Over the years the valentines day
was left behind,
no more flowers no more candy
and at first I cried.
But then I thought when did I ever
be the giver this day,
so I went out shopping
and went all the way.
I bought a basket and then
I filled it with some tools,
and fishing gear for him makes him drool.
I threw in some candy
and a balloon,
and had it delivered with love
from your favorite boobs.
Oh when they came up
to him blush he did,
and when he read the card
he near flipped his lid.
He had all day
to think on what to do,
and that evening
he took me on a muse.
Oh it was awesome
with candles and all,
he wished me happy valentines
without stall.
Then came a basket
just for me,
with a card that replied
best pair I ever did seen.
If valentines day
has become humdrum,
then just flirt a little
it will bring it back home.
Make it fun
and turn it around I'd say,
cause the guys enjoys surprises
just as you today.

I loved my valentines day
it was really fun, me and meh man went to my cabin and hung out in the snow and made snow angels and watched a marathon of movies. it was amazing
Such a lovelywrite, so personal as well.

Little changes of pace and suprises can really keep up the excitement level in a relationship. The good kind of excitement I mean. To many times people get caught in the emotion and the holiday and forget the real purpose behind it. Great poem again. I really enjoyed it (as I'm sure he did too.

Yep! I did that one year for our anniversary
I put together a basket, candy, card, and a few other little things, took it to the office where he works, and one of the secretaries took it down to the building he works in
What a surprise that was for him! Those little things, are what keeps a relationship fun and full of love and life! Great job here!
and love
