Roses and Stuffed Puppies

We had all day,
To spend together,
We ran around,
In the stormy weather,
I love the rain,
And you do too,
But most of all,
I love being with you.

You kissed me you hugged me,
You gave me a rose,
We laughed and we walked,
And i blew air up your nose,
You hugged me you held me,
You wrapped me up tight,
You gave me a soft puppy,
And you made me feel right.

We shopped and we sang,
And played the whole day through,
I have never had a day,
Quite like I had with you,
Cant say there ever was a time,
I was not at all blue,
Except everyday I get to spend with you.

You played with my hair,
You pulled me in tight,
You picked me up and swung me round,
You gave everyone a fright,
You touched your nose to mine,
You tickled my neck,
You told me I was beautiful,
Even though I looked like a wreck.

We laughed and we screamed,
And we ran about with joy,
Im so glad I met you,
And that your my boy,
We went to a party,
We played with little kids,
You borrowed my sisters scooter,
And down the driveway you did skids.

We danced in the rain,
We kissed in it too,
I figured out today that i really love you,
We had an amazing time,
And my family took you home,
I met your sisters and around the house we did roam,
You mother she hugged me,
She kissed my forehead too,
She told me I must be very special to you,
I was cold and wet,
And you wrapped your jacket around my frame,
You kept me warm,
My heart you did claim,
This day you did defrost,
My heart of solid ice,
You melted all the hurt,
And love you did entice,
I've never been so happy,
As this in all my life,
You make me a better person,
You took from my heart the imbedded knife.
