When nations put on uniforms and start marching,
it may fall to the occasional man, with his pipe and his dog,
to resist the incipient jaundice and
the nature of people to follow fashion;
to find a place remaining where the silence is complete
and only awaiting the music of their footsteps;
to discover that peace cannot be bought or won;
to find that truth leaves an indelible mark on his soul -
long after all other wounds have healed.

change what? i mean this is what i expect from you. it's the depth of a situation that you are able to reach that makes for these fascinating writes. the tone shows how that brilliant mind of yours works. it always did amaze me how your diction is such that the clarity of your write is crystal. it is such in this that the impact is powerful. again you use words that are precise and appropiate enough to convey the message. i am awed as usual.

what could be changed? it flows very well and as a bit of prose - well thot out, i might add - -it is excellent. Again, i say, the sounds - - you seem to have found a deeper, more evocative, voice within your word choices - was it time away? or time spent bent kneeling in anguish searching for the exact phrases to forge? brilliant observation as well. blessings and best wishes,
