This is the time of year
when you hold that special person near
a person who will love you until the end
who will be your lover and best friend
but what happens if you have no one?
and everybody else has someone?
Valentines Day can be a lonely time of year
you cry out but no one can hear
i am one of those people unlucky in love
and i am ever so lonely on Valentines Day!!!!

When I read it I definitely felt for you because I was single on Valentine's Day. I enjoyed it though but most of my friends who are single absolutely hated it. And I used to hate it as well so I can definitely relate.
