All time have I spied as before Me it rolls;
Beginning and end I have known –
As clear as the moon, full within cloudless skies,
Have your lives before Me shone.
I’ve heard the outcry of your suffering hearts,
Ere sadness even knew you by name,
And the joys as well that will light ‘pon your faces,
I placed ere the cosmos from my fingertips came.
With all splayed before Me, eternity in a blink,
There’s naught that I’ve noticed not –
Why then find you cause, My daughters, My sons,
When I seek but to free you when caught?
I have seen the days you’ve yet to face,
And you’re wending like beasts to demise;
You doubt not the world nor your kindred therein,
So why doubt your true Father, My word as mere lies?
Don’t plunge into the pit, experience as your guide –
Take heed, freely given…I’m here by your side.
Could you tell what this poem was about?

i love this poem, it's really beautiful. it's what i wish people could read when they so often deny God and His love. i think you've really captured the essence of God's love for His children and peoples tendencies to stray from Him when He only wants us near. great write, love.

To me..your words are about grieving our Father..
in our willful rebellion.
Your words read of a loving caution..
from the only One who has the right to warn us of ourselves.
And of Hope when we've fallen..
that we have His hand to reach out to.
Wisdom, Dear Poet.
