Time again to pay respects
A “Thank You” to Veterans all
Remembering their contribution
by answering their nations call
They made this nation what it is
Freedom for you and me
Duty performed in this country
and duty performed oversea
They gave us all that they could give
to Defend and protect what we know
Keeping our country safe and secure
with the Bravery that they did show
Whatever the branch of service
our Veterans passed the test
They gave to us what was needed
They gave to us - Their Best

I am not a veteran yet, but am on my way...we really do love knowing what we do is appreciated, it makes a difference.

How lovely that you thought it would be a nice idea to re-enter your poem into another contest by the same contest holder. God loves that. But not much mention of praying here.

to our veterans and Military ,So true every day is Vets day ,so many are in harms way and we pay tribute once a year or so...been to long for me to do so...thank you for this awesome reminder and
