snow globe

cold snows
fall incessantly in this
glass-encased world

fragile hearts wither
distended
like threads of sorrow
across the whiteness

how is it you melt
so effortlessly
into empty sky?

don’t look up
when you are alone

at the heavens
where stars gather
to make love
and where memories
do not fade
              so easily

where does the white go when the snow melts,
where does love go when love disappears?

it' not about snow...

Reading this i want to copy Pamela's words and echo her "how tenderly beautiful" and moving. Loved the metaphor you've applied here and the image of being encased in a cold world where "cold snows fall incessantly".

the question you asked is so very poignant and I really liked the placing....right in the middle. it makes for a turning point to move on to stars. the closing lines are amazing...simply beautiful. thank you so much for sharing your thoughts this way.

I love the imagery in this and the idea of the snowglobe.

    'fragile hearts wither
    distended
    like threads of sorrow
    across the whiteness'

    those lines speak. Lovely penning

    rain ball...

where on earth will the white blanket lay, or does it's fascination sway your tendency like a di Janero jolt in a rain forest plucked clean by its residents for corporate whores, both hungry and willing? forget what I say - i'd rather contemplate your questions with a benevolent charm than to give answers a mile wide and as deep as my fingernail...

how is it you melt so effortlessly into empty sky?

the rest is too hard to breathe with.
