Writing this on a Cafe Nior napkin
Passing time, I entered on a whim
The environment was relaxed
the feeling was surpassed
by the calmness of my heart within
Thinking freely, freely thinking
Writing feelings, writing meanings
Mildly aware of the clock's loud ticking
I ask myself if I even care.
Suddenly it's 3 hours later
So I must fold this paper
put away the sugar shaker
and wave at the coffee maker
as I continue my journey on.
Passing time, I entered on a whim

the feeling was surpassed

Thinking freely, freely thinking
Writing feelings, writing meanings

and wave at the coffee maker
as I continue my journey on.
Author notes
I actually did write this on a napkin in a small cafe, January 28, 2009. I had a lot of time to kill so I stopped in this little hole in the wall next to a bead shop to have some coffee. It was a really nice place, I plan on going back there sometime. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to write again!
So, tel me what you think.
Was it an easy read?
