Lost and afraid
I hide myself away,
feeling no one cares
about me this day.
I think of only my sorrows
yet I never saw,
how God told me it would be OK
upon the wall.
Shadows most people never see ,
for shadows are for children indeed.
As we become adults
we ignore them along the way,
only through the shadows
God comes to play.
The dance of the trees outside,
and the flight of the birds so free.
A fluttering of a butterfly ,
tell me did you take the time to see.
Hope and his embrace
comes in many forms,
even through the lightening
of the storms.
The dance of the shadow
will show joy there,
yet with so many the shadows
they aren't aware .
Open your eyes to the love,
presented each day.
and tell me how in your life,
do your shadows play.
Does the shadow just sit,
in a bent over form.
No activity ,
and filled with scorn.
When was the last time,
you saw your shadow dance.
Better yet when was the last time,
you gave it a chance.
Pay attention today
of the shadows of others to see,
And if they are happy
what shadow do you see.
This could be your shadow
if you so choose,
Its all in what you decide
on what your shadow will do.
Sit in a room where your shadow is cast,
upon a wall and see yourself at last.
Move about and you will see,
you can dance if you so want it to be .

good thoughts
i was really captivated through most of the poem,but sort of felt was being prolonged, but i do enjoy the many messages you have put into it.and the way you make the reader think.
