Riddle

A farmer lived on a farm, DAH...ya think??? but his farm and the town were divided by a river, so each time he went to town, he had to cross over the river in a boat...really???

So he buys a chicken, a fox and a bag of grain.
he can't leave the chicken with the bag of grain..and...
he can't leave the fox with the chicken.
he can only take one at a time in the boat.
How many trips will he have to make to get them all back to the farm?
You have to explain each trip.

ONE TRIP TO AND FRO

ah!  said the lofty farmer

If I tie a rope, to a make shift raft
I can tow the chicken, the fox can’t have
Ill put the grain, in the boat with me
to keep it dry and the chicken wont see
As for the fox, not sharp as me
around his neck a rope will be
to pull us all,  across the stream

OMG! I'm afraid I must report this as animal abuse to the ASPCA. A tiny creature like a fox pulling that weight trying to swim! Just kidding.I'm afraid you've wasted the money spent on a now dead wet soggy fox though. But I liked the funny rhymed poemy anyway.

Yes,it's a very inventive twist of the tale. And a twist on solving the dilemma proposed. Kudos! Was my attempted humor.Excuse

you want a long comment huh

you don't say... I like to leave short comment to keep it short n simple. There are times when i leave long comments but it is usually when i read peoms about love of childhood abuse or suicide. I dunno why. I like your work but i can not get out enough to say to you. Does that make sense? So there you go.

Hope your night is jsut lovely.
