A Godly Mother is a gift
from the Lord above
she reflects His image
the way she shows her love
A nurturer and protector
for her growing brood
faithful to her labor
her grace daily renewed
A firm and steady anchor
holds fast in every storm
she shelters her dear family
to keep them safe and warm
The lessons that she teaches
as children grow and climb
has enduring value
to last a whole lifetime
Dear Jane you are a blessing
to your children and their own
their lives have been influenced
by you, their cornerstone

Wonderful write. Your poems, as I stated before, posess a nice, easy flow to them. Good rhyming technique, and top notch message and structure. A very spiritual poem,Very heart warming. You seemto be a very caring person..Once again, I enjoyed this tribute so very, very much. Keep up the fine work

What a
lovely tribute & so worthy of that Silver! You certainly covered all the bases of Motherhood nicely here my poet friend. Great flow & tempo & a fitting end to a warm tribute. I wouldn't change a thing. Bravo!

You Have Spoken
truely of what my mother is to us all. As I am sure all mothers are. To have that anchor, that cornerstone, is truely a blessing in the roughest of times.

This is gorgeous darling Dennis.
You've shown how easy it is to rhyme for starters, but more than that you have reached into space and time and pulled words together that will touch Little Dear and more than that, Richard.
