Behold, ye gods of men
Bow in awe of this awesome splendor
That be thy creation
For I am thy better
Thy equal and thy inferior
Bow to me!
Admire what I do,
Rejoice in what I am
And do not mourn that which I am not.
Behold, ye men of the world
Realize what thou are
And bow to none save your gods
Admire what thou are
Rejoice in what thou dost do
But remember they who created you.
Behold, disenchanted mortals of this world
Become what thou was born to be
Become that which rules
Be that which dominates
Be a god!
Author notes
Well, written during school, reading Beowulf... it's my first time writing in this particular style with the olden language, so if it's completely hideous, I'll take it down...

I liked it,, and beowulf is a great epic poem, hard to get past in some places but completely worth the read.
I think you did a great job on this. Middle stanza is the best..
