in a language, I almost know.
If angels sang my lullaby's,
when curled inside the womb;
then memory would follow birth
seeding life, with Eden's tune.
Gardens wild, and cultivated
sing dulcet-soulful cadence.
Spring's deep-eyed bulbs,
lively lift through forest loam.
In golden sunshine
nodding vivid-candy heads,
to gentle zephered rhythm.
Cocoons that overwintered,
transition to fey butterflies.
Unfolding, drying their
stained-glass-brilliant wings,
they catch my breath in awe.
In the whisper of wonder--
is a prayer of thankfulness,
for the art of God.

Sometimes we forget who is the Real creator until we see or hear something truely beautiful, something that touches our heart.
The world needs this now,

now this truly brightened my day as well as heightened my view of you as a poetess. you assigned the topic the grandeur that it so richly deserved. the art of God is such an appropiate title and that shows where your heart is. this speaks volumes of your talent as well as you as a person. i am awed.

Awww darlin', thanks, I've always found my most spiritual experiences happen naturally in nature. It's like my church, so close to the creators hand I feel as if I am literally resting in His arms, one of his flowers.

You have taken what might have been a prosaic or trite topic and infused it with life and brilliant imagery. It shows that any theme can be magical if the author seeks new means of expression. Congratulations on your gold trophy. Peace, Liz

This was so beautiful! It sure makes me yearn for the loveliness of Spring! I would point out lines that are especially inspiring, but then I would just paste the whole thing here.

Beautiful picture.

Your language is clear, lyrical and as graceful as the images you portray. From the womb to the cocoon, you dance with the natural wonders and wonder at the nature of all of God's gifts.
A magnificent paean to life, it birth and its beauty.
Peace & Light,
Tom B.

Love "If angels sang my lullaby's, when curled inside the womb~that memory would follow birth seeding life, with Eden's tune." You paint such a picture of fragility and beauty. Which is a butterfly isn't it! Felt like I was in your garden gazing at the view in your picture. Wonderful!
