HA !!!!... Not a poem but HA... !!!!

It all started out to be a normal day. HA !!! Then, I tried to water the dogs and the split hose connector broke spraying me with water. So, I turned the spout off and proceeded to try and get the splitter off so I could replace it. HA ! Not only did it come off, but it broke where it connects from the inside of the house side to the just inside the outside side. I got wetter. Real wet. Glasses dripping water. Hair soaked. And, I was standing in mud. It is amazing how much water can pour from one pipe in about 5 seconds. So, I went to turn the water off at the main and found out I could not turn it by hand. The water kept shooting out while I ran inside looking for a water turner offer tool. LOL.. I have a tool box but it is NOT organized but I did find a handy star tool which did the trick. Now, to fix it. I have a box of plumbing stuff. It includes things like pipe dope, cleaner, threaded tapes, and cement. Cement is what I wanted and cement it was... almost. Actually, it was this glob of what looked like petrified snot. This was NOT going to work. Normally, I would have got in the car and ran to the hardware store but my 3 year old grdaughter was on the couch sortof sleeping not feeling well. I called out the troops in the form of my bestest friend Patty and she did the run for me. It was not long before I had the pipe fixed and the water on again.. My dad called in the midst of all the chaos and was going to drive the 20 miles from his house to mine with his friend Jim, ( and mine too ) , bring me cement and probably have Jim fix it. LOl... Ha !!! Seems someone was trying to mess up a perfectly good day but God had other plans. He washed my glasses for me, rinsed my hair, washed the mud off my tennies... and even helped me find a star tool pretty fast. And, He gave me the knowledge of how to fix it and it held. ( God never shows ya wrong ). And, He made me feel loved and cared for just knowing He was there and my friends were there and my Dad was there. He alerted the mounties all on my behalf. Pretty darn cool I think and I am more than thankful for Christ and His amazing ways. I also know God has a sense of humor. He let me be a plumber today...hehehehehe. Love to all. Debby

This sounds like a few of my days when I just have to stop, cry, laugh and say God take over. This is sweet and touching. God bless.

    She got'cha, Satan! Yoohoo!

This is soooo funny, Sis; I've had a few of these experiences myself. But, the funniest part was seeing Satan get his come uppance with a kick in his teeth and water in his face. Yoohoo! Love it!

Tons of love & hugs, SisBon
